I'm a product designer in the Bay Area. I graduated in May 2026 with a BFA in Interaction and UX/UI Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
It started in middle school with a class assignment to build a website on Weebly. Everyone else said it was boring. Mine was an ugly neon rainbow, and I couldn't wait to go back and customize it more. That's when I knew this was what I wanted to do.
I test every project with real people. Nuance had two rounds of usability testing, Docket had six testers over seven sessions, and Reboot and Flosser had focus groups.
